Dear Friends,
Happy New Year!
The great thing about the New Year is the opportunity to start fresh
with a clean sheet of paper and start over. Starting over is
refreshing and gives us the added confidence that we are in control of
our life, again. Buying a new book, a new car, a new suit, or
starting a new job all give the opportunity to make a new commitment to
finish, maintain or improve our self in the near future.
The new Year also
provides a point in time for us to embrace the past. Last year
and in all the years before, we have accumulated experiences, good and
bad, that have molded us into the unique person we are. It is
this uniqueness that we are forever trying to understand as we grow in
our career and life.
My hope for each of
you, as the year unfolds, is to be confident in your uniqueness as you
inspire others to grow and learn in their special way. The
diversity that we honor and nurture is the greatest gift we give to our
organizations and families. I look forward to partnering with you
and your organization to start new initiatives while valuing the paths
we have traveled. The world will be better because we tried!
